I've seen the doctor many times both by video and in his office. He has always been a straight-shooter, patient, answering my questions, following-up. My normal aging issues of degenerative shoulder problems, plus the typical older-male problem of spinal stenosis & disc herniation, he diagnosed ably and honestly. Back- and joint-pain are hard issues for doctors and their patients. There are no cures for the common aging process of spinal discs' shrinking and cartilage-deterioration; pain is wide-spread, both literally and through the population; and doctors are often at the receiving when relief doesn't arrive. Dr. Touhy has done as much as any doctor can, given the state of this area of medicine in the 2020s, and I've experienced nothing but top-notch care, insight, and professionalism.
