I went to the ER and Dr. Perona was one of my ER doctors. I was such a mess because of how scared I was and he talked calmly to me, to help ease my fear. He was very informative, he listened to my concerns and worries, ran through a series of tests to confirm and rule out problems, and was very empathetic to my results. You rarely ever meet an ER doctor who puts the patient's needs above their agendas and ease their emotional distress. Thank you Dr. Perona for all you did, despite the tragic results, it was nice to have some who empathize for their patient.
