Patient Reviews
Mar 31, 2023
Dr. Heusinkveld is cutting edge on knowledge and techniques for Pelvic Prolapse and related therapies and surgery. He provides adequate time for questions, listens respectfully to patient concerns, and communicates in a manner that meets patient needs. In my case, that meant referring me to research on procedures for which I might be a candidate then offering a follow-up appointment to discuss my lengthy list of questions. His nurse Rachel, and scheduling assistant Blanca, are a great asset and support to the team. A doctor's effectiveness is enhanced by the team, and, in this practice, you will find the whole package. I also appreciate his affiliation with a teaching hospital and his engagement with and knowledge of research in this field. Tucson is very fortunate to have his expertise and I'm relieved to have found a specialist who offers options that I could not find elsewhere.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
