Patient Reviews
Oct 15, 2024
My wife had fractured her hand two weeks prior and, after urgent care, was seen by a local orthopedic specialist 4 days later who noted that surgery wasn't needed. The prosthetist that was fitting my wife's custom splint the following week said that the x-ray looked like the worst metacarpal fracture she had ever seen. That really made us worry that her hand may have needed surgery and was now already weeks post injury. We scrambled locally but could not get a timely appointment. In an age where access to care has become challenging to many patients, Dr. Rayhack went above and beyond to provide my wife with a timely second opinion that gave her the peace of mind she was looking for to address the question of surgery needed or not with a hand fracture. We called his office at the Wrist and Hand Center and were able to, on the same day, speak directly to him and get an opinion from him (confirming that she won't need surgery. We highly recommend Dr. Rayhack!
