I've been dealing with various autoimmune diseases for many years. I've gone from rheumatologist to rheumatologist,and have never found one to be as compassionate, helpful and available. He ALWAYS responds to my phone calls, usually quite quickly, and when I missed an appointment, actually called me to see if I was alright. He's a rarity in this time of 'hands off medicine'! I've also had difficulty with my insurance paying for my meds, and he has been a tireless advocate for me with them.
