Dr. McDermott was my family Doctor for almost 29 years. We recently moved to Tennessee & were fortunate to find an incredible primary Doctor & specialists, however while living in NYS for many years Dr. McDermott was a Godsend to my husband & I. Foremost he is an incredible human being. I have known him for many years & he truly cares about his patients. He always goes above & beyond. My only complaint before I left was that I couldn’t get into see him & his staff knew that I was moving. It was almost a 2 month wait. He has some exceptional staff, but some not so great. At times I have had to find out results on My Chart & call the office. This is not Dr. McDermotts fault, but the staff that is not following up. I know Dr. MD is incredibly thorough. I’ll leave it at that. John is missed by Rick & myself. Very caring, he has only sent us to incredible Doctors meaning specialists over the years. We are very thankful. I would recommend this wonderful Doctor to anyone.
