Patient Reviews
Nov 10, 2023
I am 1 month from a year post-op from a labral repair. Dr. Young saw me the day after I dislocated my shoulder for the 3rd time and scheduled my surgery 1-2 weeks after that visit. Some of the delay was for me to plan/prepare. His office was going to try to get me in that Friday for surgery! Dr. Young doesn't have the greatest bedside manner, but it isn't bad either. He's definitely more technical and will definitely explain your issues and surgery to the fullest. Sometimes more info than I wanted since internal things gross me out, but knowledge is power. He talks calm and softly which is a plus during these stressful times. I worked with 2 of his PAs and both were very caring and comforting and worked to help. I also had a great experience with all his staff. Everyone was nice. He didn't push PT directly after surgery, but was always willing to prescribe and get me what I needed/wanted.
