I had a Large Weiss Ring floater evaporated by Dr Karickoff about 5 or 6 years ago. I was repeatedly told at home in my large city that nothing could be done and I would get used to seeing it. It was a terrible 4 months and had to resort to seeing a psychotherapist which didn’t help. I did my own research, sent an email and Dr Karickoff called me immediately to explain everything. I was super impressed with his list of accommodations in the area as well as local attractions. He invented this procedure and I am eternally grateful for him. I think of him often with gratitude. Two years after I was there, the same thing happened to my other eye along with a new Weiss Ring floater, but didn’t stress about it as I knew the drill and that all would be fine once again under the care of Dr Karickoff.
