Patient Reviews
May 14, 2022
When Dr. Tuttle told me my rotator cuff “is tearing” and the best thing to do was fix it surgically, I was scared because of the horror stories I’d heard about how painful that surgery is. He did say this surgery “can be tough”. No sugar coating here, which I appreciated. My surgery went well and I had very little pain! I took pain medicine before the nerve block wore off in preparation for lots of pain, but I really had hardly any. I only then took a pain pill at night so I could sleep. Mostly I didn’t notice any pain. He also fixed a bicep tendon relocation and “cleaned up” some arthritis, so he did quite a bit of work. I followed his instructions as far as PT, wearing the sling, and what activities I could start doing. He was very good at explaining what he was doing and has a great bedside manor.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
