Patient Reviews
Jul 12, 2022
This was the BEST decision we made for our daughter. She had 2 curves with one being severe by the time we went to see him. We had a 1st opinion at NYU and weren't impressed by the staff or doctor's bedside manner. We did use a brace but it was too progressive. A few friends had scoliosis surgery at HSS so we went for a 2nd opinion here. My daughter felt extremely comfortable and we all agreed that John Blanco had amazing bedside manners. When a doctor speaks to a parent with reassurance that he will take care of your child like his own, that comfort comes a long way. He followed up with us every day after her 6hr surgery. The staffing at HSS is incredible, and the medical equipment was modern, and the rooms immaculate. Our 4 night stay over was very easing. His precision work on my daughters spine has given her a bright future. Top hospital for the last 12years respectively. Thank you for your amazing work!
