Dr. Scanelli is wonderful in every possible way. First, and most important, he is totally up-to-date on all the latest research and procedures. Second, he thinks about the well-being of his patients, checking in frequently in the hospital. Third, he communicates straightforwardly and courteously. He answers questions with as much detail as you wish and never fudges his answers. The hospital staff (I was at GW) clearly have a lot of respect, even affection, for him and that's good for you.
