I have autoimmune hepatitis and searched for a current and up to date physician with ongoing knowledge of my condition. He is the reference for other physicians treating this condition. I travel hundreds of miles to see this man and impressed every time we talk, he can answer any question I come up with. I am a retired RN and worked in research at UTMB, Dr Vierling is one of the finest researchers I have had the chance to meet and have care for me.
