Patient Reviews
Aug 12, 2024
Dr Waters is a consummate professional. His knowledge and wisdom is only overshadowed by his humble, earnest, compassionate bedside manner. With regard to competency Dr Waters is a tremendous asset to UTSW and the cardio-thoracic field in general. With regard to care and compassion he sets a standard, reminiscent of days past, which other Physicians should follow. He has been a blessing for my family and I encourage any who need a cardio-thoracic surgeon to seek him out.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
