In 2013 I had a head injury from a large tree limb bashing my head and pushing my brain to the left. I obtained a copy of the surgery notes a couple years later and read the report. Of the Doctors on the team, Dr Winestone was the one who was willing to perform the procedure. The others in the report said I would not recover with my full faculties. He calmed my wife and took great care in explaining the chances and possible outcomes and that greatly relieved my really upset wife. She cried but trusted him and he was kind. The little I was awake and able, I also was consulted with the choices to consider pre-op. My wife gave him the go ahead to try. It took two attempts, but today I have my life back. Dr Winestone was gentle and soothing during his visits post-op, some visits in the middle of the night because he cared. He never gave up on me and I owe him my life. I would recommend his care and precision to anyone with a need. He is a humble but brilliant man that I trust.
