Patient Reviews
Feb 10, 2018
Dr. John Um performed two surgeries on me, In 2013 he placed an Lvad in my chest and 6 months later (2014) performed heart transplantation. Dr. Um is compassionate, knowledgeable thorough, totally competent and very approachable. At all times he was available to.answer my questions and provided answers that I could understand. If there was a way to give him 50 stars I would do it. He saved my life, I am very healthy.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
