Dr. Harrison continues to be our Family Practice MD at Kaiser Otay Mesa after many years. He is also a trained Internist and his depth of knowledge is impressive. He is currently meeting with us (myself, caregivers we hired, and sometimes the target patient) on the phone weekly to handle the complex issues of Vascular Dementia. Dr. Harrison's kindness, warmth and empathy have been hallmarks of our relationship and particularly powerful at this time when we are dealing with very tough existential and daily care issues around aging and chronic illness. He respects our level of education and is willing to learn from us if we have information "hot off the press" about ME/CFS, acknowledging that not much is available in treatment after so many years with this difficult invisible illness. We are profoundly grateful.
