Dr. Kaper appears to be very knowledgeable in his field but does not have soft personal skills. The one thing he seems to lack is bedside manner. From our experience, he is not kind to heavier patients - not everyone is small. My husbands weight has fluctuated over the years. I would have preferred him to be a bit more compassionate and understanding, but he kept my spouse alive and without issue. His team was great, all very kind and empathetic. Doctors need to do better and be better humans when they’re working with people.
