In, I think his first year in Charlotte, Dr Levine saw my husband in the Emergency Room as the 'on call' doctor. WHAT A BLESSING! He diagnosed my husband with Guilllain-Barre early enough to treat him successfully so that he did not go into a coma etc. He saw my husband over the next several years with several blood-related issues that required delicate adjustments of treatment. Dr. Levine is compassionate, truly brilliant according to my husband who worked with medical personnel during his military career as a medic in Korea, Vietnam, US, and European countries. As 'the spouse' I was always included in the conversation and medical issues were clearly explained. As my husband's situation worsened, Dr. Levine, with my husband's permission, consulted, more than once, I think, with a group of doctors at the hospital. (I consider consultation with other professionals a sign of excellence in a field.)
