I have suffered from serious eye problems for nearly 20 years, which have caused my vision to deteriorate to the point that it has materially impacted my work over the past few years. I switched from another large practice in Charlotte to Dr. Minkowski at Horizon Eye about 18 months ago and couldn’t be happier. He invested the time up front to fully analyze my complex medical history, quickly performed a surgery that helped (as best is possible) to alleviate some degree of my vision difficulties, and has arranged a plan of care that optimizes my visual abilities and minimizes my pain. My multiple visits with him are always timely and efficient - and his office is very pleasant to deal with (especially Tascha). Horizon also has done a great job coordinating with my disability insurance carriers. I receive a personalized level of care from Dr. Minkowski that has far exceeded my expectations. And he’s a nice guy to top it all off!
