I had a hernia surgery the previous day and was experiencing symptoms that I did not expect. Being concerned that I had developed an infection, I went to the emergency room. Dr. Paulsen was very patient, and he addressed my concerns. He explained what was occurring around the surgical site which I greatly appreciated learning. I am thankful he was on duty that early morning.
