For more then 10 years I’ve had an open wound on the bottom of my right foot after two amputations of the fifth metatarsal years of Woundcare with no site in healing. I was sent to the Woundcare center at WOODMONT Hospital and met Dr. Selbst. Eventually I started seeing him in his office in Delray Beach which was worth the 35 minute ride! After a few attempts at healing the wound he finally decided that he needed to open up the area and see what’s going on with the bone. It was so damaged and brittle that he cut it out as far back as possible. In about seven months the wound had healed I’m now going to physical therapy to strengthen up my muscles so I can walk properly again! All I have to say is trust Dr. Selbst with your foot and ankle problems he’s caring and makes sure you understand what he is doing and also what he expected of you! Plus the office staff is so kind and very helpful about making appointments on days and times I’m available they make it workThank you Dr. Selbst
