Dr Yunis performed successfully this week my second hernia surgery in two years. The first surgery last year was an inguinal hernia on the left side. One year later a new hernia developed on the right side which was repaired by Dr Yunis using again the advanced Shouldice technique. This was one of the best surgery experiences I ever had in my life. I felt only moderate pain around the incision site which I treated with acetaminophen and Ibuprofen. Although I decided to spend two more nights in Sarasota just in case of some unpredictable issues, everything was fine, and my drive home to the other coast of Florida was very smooth. I had incredible support by phone before and after the surgery from Melanie who is an extremely helpful and knowledgeable head nurse in Dr Yunis's office. She is a very caring and competent person in all her talks with the patients. I highly recommend Dr Yunis and the Center for Hernia Repair as the best and safest solution for hernia surgery.
