My experience was with my mother-in-law's case; and as an elderly patient, who is hard of hearing, she had difficulty in communicating and understanding doctor and nursing questions, orders, and advice. Dr. Lisella was patient, helpful, and courteous at all times and was able to help us to help her understand her condition, her surgical risks, and her likely outcomes. He was able to adjust to her pace of realization and come back to visit or to call us to discuss any questions or concerns. His professionalism and compassion are hallmark traits of the best of surgeons and we continue to refer family, friends, and acquaintances to his practice.
