It was so refreshing to talk with an Endo that looked at you, not at the monitor, talked with me, not to the monitor, directed her remarks to me, not to the monitor. After a long and in-depth interview by her assistant and then by Dr. Perlman ('Call me Jordan') I had time to ask follow up questions, get in-depth answers that were related to ME, not a cockie-cut person! It was relaxing and I walked away reassured of the treatment I was getting so far. Dr. Perlman offered to coordinate changes in my prescriptions with my other doctors, relieved me from the frustrating glucose testing, and all-around was reassuring and confident. Great experience. I live in Rockville where I didnt find any Endo that would take me with my insurance, and if she did, I received idiotic and unclear answers (Like another endo who suggested I lose weight around my LIVER!). i am already down to 107 Lb. In short, it may have been a long ride - but it was worth every mile! Thank you Dr. Jordan!
