Patient Reviews
Jun 22, 2024
I met Dr Cox at my job, as I was stepping in for coworker who was his normal service advisor. We chatted and learned he was a cardio thoracic surgeon. I told him about my recent diagnosis of bicuspid aortic valve. He blew me away by drawing a picture of the heart showing me how and what was wrong with my heart. Fast forward about 5-6 years to June 2023, I had episode of SVT and was told I had heart attack. The cardiologist who treated me told me I would need to think about when not if to replace my heart valve. I told him funny story about dr I met at work but never could see due to not having the insurance where he practiced. He was blown away that it was a Dr Cox and he said he was going to personally call him (they are close colleagues) and have him reach out for consultation. I had heart valve replaced august 2023 and the experience was amazing (not the pain part). Kindness and compassion to explanation to healing DR COX IS THE BEST!!
