Congestive heart failure, blood clots, and hypertension are a few of the numerous challenges I have to face on a daily basis. Most are the results of poor lifestyle choices such as poor diet, lack of exercise, being overweight, and other not so great habits. Despite all of these obstacles Dr. Abruzzo has always treated me with dignity and respect. He has great communication skills and doesnt pull punches when bad news needs to be heard. At which times his compassion shines through making even tough news seem more tolerable. My heart function number was sub 20% when first diagnosed, but a year later it grew back to a healthy 55% despite my half hearted attempts at following his instructions for diet, excercise, and quitting bad habits. He's as good as they come in a very complex medical field. Five stars Dr.
