Went to Urgent Care with excruciating pain on my right side and back which was diagnosed by NA Shirley Jiang. Following an ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis, Dr. Joseph Shadpour called to follow up on the status of my pain and provided detailed instructions to avert the hurting. I was surprised by the intentional call and by his concern, especially since I had not met with him. The next day, he again called to check on the frequency of the intermittent pain and its severity. He then prescribed a UTI med as another viable treatment. In past doctors’ visits, it’s always been incumbent upon the patient to call the doctor, but not it this case which is evidence of Dr. Shadpour genuine interest in his patients, in medical matters both procedural and life threatening.
