My recovery is where it is with a LOT of help. My sobriety is mine, but sometimes it feels like Dr. Bravoco has handed it to me on a silver platter, so to speak. You can tell he's 'done his homework,' has really listened to his patients, and has a sense of empathy that somehow awakens your own, because talking with him, he just so gets the mindset, the feeling, of what it really feels like and means to be trapped in an addiction. He and I talk about what's specific to me, and his understanding brings me right to the place where he's looking at whatever problem and all the ways out, such that I see all those ways out too. I am no longer trapped in a bottle. Dr. Bravoco, you've helped me so much to be able to say that.
