This review is somewhat delayed, yet it is important to acknowledge those who make a significant impact on our lives, no matter the timing. In 2019, I suffered a life-threatening medical emergency when my colon ruptured, leading to sepsis. During this critical period, Dr. Lopresti was instrumental in saving my life.I spent ten days in the hospital under intensive care with heavy antibiotics, stabilizing my condition enough to undergo surgery a month later. This crucial intervention by Dr. Lopresti helped me avoid living with a colostomy bag permanently. Throughout my hospital stay, Dr. Lopresti was a constant presence, checking on me daily. His professional demeanor, coupled with genuine care and reassurance, provided great comfort during a profoundly uncertain time.Although the initial prognosis by the ER doctor was grim, Dr. Lopresti's dedication and expertise shone through. He approached my case with a mix of directness and compassion, qualities that I greatly appreciated! Ty! Dr. L
