My Son was under the care of Dr Joseph Savino in ICU at the University Of PA. He is proficient, caring, and a team builder. As a parent, and Advocate for my Adult Son, I look to be heard with respect- even though I am not a medical professional - in order to work through medical plans for him. Well, Dr Savino listens. I felt very much a part of the team working in the best interest of my 1 and only Son. Dr Savino facilitated connections between 2 other necessary departments... and he did so because he listened to my plea. He heard my concerns and followed through with a commitment to assist. In addition to all of this... Dr Savino has a great sense of humor. He brings light moments to serious times... and light times to serious moments... I appreciate him so much. I highly recommend Dr Savino to advance the care of your ICU Department or your family member. - SDB
