How likely are you to recommend Dr. Aizen?
I first saw Dr. Aizen as a recommended surgical backup when my nephrologist thought I had kidney stones, but he quickly diagnosed my actual issue, a hereditary ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJ obstruction), which a prior doctor missed. Dr. Aizen was a fantastic doctor through every step of the process. He clearly described my issue (including drawing pictures for me during our consultation) and shepherded me through the resulting necessary outpatient surgery and follow-up. Dr. Aizen provided as much information as I wanted and was available for questions, but didn't overwhelm me, and also did a great job on my final surgery and the follow-up stent removal. I would recommend Dr. Aizen to anyone and everyone. While he specializes in men's uro issues, I found him perfectly competent and very sensitive as a women's practitioner. He took my prior negative experience with a catheter very seriously and made all possible accommodations before my stent removal.
