After living with level 9 pain from Trigeminal Neuralgia (on the entire right side of my face) for more than 3.5 years, I was referred to Dr. Lucas after speaking to my neuro doctor. I had been managing the pain with gabapentin meds. After speaking to him for under an hour, Dr. Lucas was able to confirm my diagnosis, then sent me for an MRI. Within days, I was contacted by him for a consult. He had identified the issue in the MRI and showed it to me. He felt I was a candidate for surgery. Having not been rushed through my appts, spoken to as an adult, and being reassured by him, I trusted him.Dr. Lucas performed the operation in just under 3 hours. Since waking from the surgery, I have had NO PAIN from the trigeminal neuralgia. The surgical area behind my right ear is healing so rapidly, the incision is clean and dissolvable stitches are nearly gone. I feel the circumstances leading to Dr. Lucas were a Godsend. Now, I'm an evangelist for Dr. Joshua Lucas. I am SO GRATEFUL!!
