Patient Reviews
Jan 29, 2023
If Dr. Joshua Ammerman had a tagline, it would be “patient first.” He and his staff are all about preparing the patient to make educated decisions about when to have surgery…or not, and the criteria to decide the best surgeon for their particular situation. The patient is at the center of all the conversations. What sets him apart is his caring manner and willingness to spend time to explain and answer questions, so you feel comfortable with the process. He helps you using his lifetime of high-quality training and, more importantly, hands-on experience. Did I mention Dr. Ammerman is the one using those skills in the operating room, not a trainee. As you decide who is operating on your body, remember these words that describe Dr. Joshua Ammerman: caring, accessible, knowledgeable, and experienced. They guided me to get a successful, top-quality, 5-star surgery.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
