Patient Reviews
Jul 12, 2024
Can we just say that we would never consider putting my husband’s life in anyone else’s hands. Dr. Baker is a man of few words but those few words are enough because he shows the type of person he is and his integrity in his actions and the 300% of himself he puts into each of his patients. My husband first came to him as an emergency patient who had only a few short minutes to live because of a type A dissection of his aorta that ascended into his aortic arch with a very low mortality rate. Dr Baker has since operated on my husband 2 more times both very complex surgeries. Dr. Baker is a surgeon you want. He does his research and does not take his cases lightly. He sticks by until he knows he has done everything he possibly can, even when that means rushing back up to the hospital after just getting home. He won’t pass you onto someone else just because he is tired and already worked 12 hours. He worked on and off for 17 hours just to come back 7 hours later to do it again.
Incredibly grateful — Jul 12, 2024

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
