I had an excellent experience during my upper endoscopy, thanks largely to Dr. Griffin's care. I have, unfortunately, had more than my fair share of experiences going "under", but this stands out one of the easiest and (dare I say) pleasant??? Can I say that about an upper endoscopy? I woke up refreshed and pretty alert, as if I had just taken a delightful nap. I wasn't groggy or exhausted or like I'm fighting to wake up - all experiences I've had before. I'm grateful for her expertise. Beyond the experience itself, Dr. Griffin was professional, introduced herself and explained what I should expect before each phase began. She was there when I woke up and continued to ensure I was doing well. I really appreciate the personal attention - treating me like I was a person, a patient... not just a case. I feel confident that you will have a good experience with her as well.
