I was initially hesitant to write this review for Dr. Hayes, concerned that I couldn’t adequately put into words an accurate portrayal for her. However, my ongoing gratitude pushes me to make the attempt. Being a leading member of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in association with Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center family of physicians serves as an introduction. A leading doctor in an organization that is recognized world-wide for their excellence in cancer research/treatment is an appropriate place to begin. Her skills in diagnosis, knowledge of current and cutting-edge practices, and decisions regarding a plan of ongoing therapy, are evidence quite early. She demonstrates superb leadership skills as the head of my oncological team which includes two additional doctors and all of their support personnel.
