when I met Dr. Dagenais on New Years eve for our first pre-surgery consult, I was REALLY put at ease: Harvard educated, genial, fit and kind, his very presence just had an air of quiet confidence and I was absolutely elated. My surgery was January 13, 2025 and everything went incredibly smoothly: from check in, to getting ready for surgery, talking to the super competent anesthesiologist and all of the nurses. In fact, even before surgery a nurse made a comment about Dr. Dagenais where he said 'Dr. Dagenais does this all the time. This is not a one-off for him, it's his specialty' etc. He didn't have to say that as I was already quite comfortable and not nervous but I really appreciated that my surgeon has the respect of his colleagues, and now of course me, his very grateful patient. If you have a serious medical concern around urology and cancer, I can't recommend Advent Medical Group enough. And especially Dr. Dagenais, my champion, and hero :-) Cheers, Billy (@billyfromnorway)
