Dr. Tang diagnosed me with trigeminal autonomic cephalgia after a number of years of not knowing what my problem was. The physical pain and suffering I went through was compounded by the unnerving anxiety from having no understanding of what exactly my medical condition was. Once I got this diagnosis I was able to experiment with modifying my lifestyle in ways that related to the autonomic nervous system and which I have repeatedly found were helpful, often to the point of long periods of completely avoiding the attacks that had been completely disabling, and I was able to do so without resorting to the usual meds that others with my disorder have usually reported were futile and had terrible side effects. I was sorry when the clinic where Dr. Tang had practiced told me he was no longer there. I appreciated his help and would have chosen to go back to him had my insurance covered his services.
