My elderly mother had several hospital stays due to extremely high blood pressure that would come on suddenly and quickly. One evening I took her to the Emergency Room where we met Dr. Williams. The ER was extremely busy, yet he took the time to make my mother feel as though she was his priority. He listened carefully to her explain what she had been doing to help curb the problem, which medication she was taking, and her frustration that so far no doctor had been able to help her get the malignant hypertension under control. A few moments later, Dr. Williams wrote out simple instructions detailing exactly when to take her medication, and which medication to take. He gave a prescription for a new medication, and we left the ER. For the next several years, my mother’s blood pressure remained under control and she often would speak of Dr. Williams in glowing terms. We were so appreciative of his kindness and attention, and just cannot say enough good things about him as a doctor.
