I consulted with 6+ oral surgeons to have my lower wisdom teeth removed. They all refused to extract them because the teeth were close to a nerve which meant there was some risk of permanent numbness/tingling in my chin and lower lip. But since one tooth was a partially-erupted bacteria haven and the other was likely to follow suit, I wanted them out. After a quick and thorough consultation, Dr. Nguyen left me feeling confident that they could be removed without serious risk of any permanent repercussions. That was a week ago. The pain from the surgery has subsided and I have absolutely no numbness and tingling that the other oral surgeons warned me about. I'm so glad to have them out. The whole experience was great. He even called on a Saturday to make sure i was feeling ok! Who does that?! AMAZING!
