I have had ITP for the past 13 years. Doctor Persico is my third hematologist. He has saved my life as well as giving life back to me. If it was not for him I would not be able watch my son, who is 8 years old now, grow and be able to do all the things that a healthy mother and son do. He is the most genuine, sincere and intelligent hematologist that have found. He turns your hope into a reality. He does every and anything to give as much as in your life as possible. He does not give up and keeps trying until he finds something that works. He treats you like family and not just the patient with an ID number. He is by far the best doctor in person that I have ever encountered in the medical field.
