I've been going to Dr. Willer for over 3 decades for chronic pain. I called him on a Saturday night and he told me to go to the ER and have the ER doctor call him so he could tell the ER doc what tests to run. I have had doctors who refused to answer the phone. One in particular who sent me to the ER directly from his office. This doctor refused to answer the phone from the ER. In short once you get past his idiosyncrasies you will have a great doctor not only knowledgeable but caring and that's extremely difficult to find in a doctor
