I had a spinal fusion on 2 levels in early December 2024. I am an 'elderly' female who likes to be independent and active as possible. From my initial visit with Dr. Fu I felt confidence in his expertise. Besides being a proven leader in his field he comports himself in a truly professional and yet personable manner. He appeared to be empathic regarding my fears about this serious surgery and gave me adequate time to express my concerns and he answered my questions honestly.I have seen my post op x-ray and was impressed with the precision I could see in the placement of instrumentation. I also want to acknowledge his staff who were also very responsive to my questions at all times and were quick to get back to me whenever I had a concern or a question.My surgery was at the upper east side location and the facility staff from the parking attendants to the registrar's office and pre-op personnel were all bright and efficient streamlining the check in procedures with courtesy.
