I have had several surgeries and procedures over the last 30 years. I’ve been a surgical patient with Dr Wanchick on 3 occasions, over the last 4 years. When other surgeons said “no way I’m touching you.”, delaying my medical care for as long as 7 years, Dr Wanchick said, “Let’s do this!” Her compassion, thorough care and communication gave me hope, when I was not sure I would ever have a normal life again. She didn’t sugar coat what needed to be done. She was willing to tackle a complicated situation with excellent ability and a positive mindset. I highly value her can do attitude, honesty, patience and clear explanations. Her whole team is competent, encouraging and very accommodating. She’s at the top of my list for surgery, if I ever need it again, and I would not hesitate to embrace her plan of care.
