After I had seen another pulmonologist for several months with no success, my general practitioner suggested I go see a research doctor at University of South Florida/Tampa General. The first day I met with Dr. Karel Calero I was immediately aware of his knowledge and empathy. He was very thorough and direct in his approach and seemed immediately to have an idea of what my issue might be. He did testing that day and the days that followed. I was very impressed with his professionalism and his willingness during every office visit to explain my situation in detail by showing radiology results and answering questions. He made me well again. I highly recommend Dr Calero and his is support staff is equally supportive.
