Patient Reviews
Jun 23, 2024
While many doctors would have taken 15 minutes, Dr. Lee spent an entire hour speaking with me in detail about my sleep disorder (narcolepsy), medical history, symptoms, and possible treatment options I had not yet explored. She was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. For a long time, I had thought I only needed a sleep doctor to write my prescriptions (which is the only treatment I’ve had for the 30 years since getting diagnosed). I have had many doctors say that since I am a functional adult and medication is working, then there is nothing new to be done. I now look forward to having a specialist focused on my specific condition, and is interested in improving my symptoms, instead of just maintaining the status quo.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
