My husband was brought by ambulance to High Point Regional Hospital with chest pains, yet the test results were conflicting. It was not entirely clear what was happening to him. Dr Smith spent hours reviewing his tests multiple times, talked to colleagues, and most importantly effectively treated my husband’s pain and was especially kind to him at one of the scariest moments in our life when family could not be with him in hospital. She treated him like family. We are forever grateful to her for going well above and beyond and for how much she cared that my husband got the appropriate treatment!
