Dr. McKinnon is a rare find in rheumatology today. She was attentive to details given to her prior to my first appt. She investigated thoroughly my symptoms and made referrals to specialists that could aid her in helping me. She has an amazing knowledge base of what is old, current and newly developing in the world of rheumatological care. She has a personality that is kind and caring without an ounce of ego or condescending attitude. She is exceptionally responsive via MyChart and office communications. She has also been the only doctor in nearly 20-years of disease activity to find out I may have been diagnosed incorrectly and may need different treatment protocols. She has impressed me in that she does not give up and wants only the best for me to succeed.
