Patient Reviews

My husband has been seeing Dr. Shannon regularly for close to 2 years. His diagnosis is grim; fatal. No hope, and yet we want the happiest, longest life for him that we can get. She understands that. His condition is rare and hence there are large gaps in the extant medical studies. That doesn't slow Dr. Shannon down. She is always completely prepared, knowledgeable, and ready to listen. She has been a joy, and it is such a relief to be 100% confident that whenever there is a new problem or a change with an old one, we will get prompt support and a physician who thinks things through every which way and won't give up until she does her best to make his life as easy, comfortable, and happy as it can be at every stage of his illness, under pretty horrendous circumstances. All this and a kind, understanding demeanor and that twinkle in her eye which is much appreciated. We have been extraordinarily lucky to have Dr. Shannon as our ally, guiding us through this illness.
