Patient Reviews

I struggled with depression and anxiety for 2 years. By 2018, I had tried 3 different docs and even was hospitalized briefly. A friend referred me to Dr S. because of her experience, plus the fact that she accepted Medicare, which is a great rarity. (not sure if she takes other insurance)She methodically weaned me off of anti-axiety meds and started me on a new drug for depression. I have now been stable and happy for almost 6 mos. I wish she were more flexible about using electronic 'portals' and e-mail, but honestly, these are small things when someone helps you to recover from depression. Instead of resisting some of her personality, I have learned to relax and express gratitude for her skills. We now get along just fine. There is respect and patience on both sides.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
